In a standard baseball match, there are nine innings, with each innings having 6 outs; Three for each team. But it may not be unusual to see fewer innings played by some leagues.In accordance with the baseball rules, at least one official, called umpire, should officiate at a baseball game. Normally 4 umpires officiate at prominent league matches, but depending on the importance and the league participating, this may vary up to 6 umpires.
