Two Brad Pitt Films that failed to garner any awards or nominations since 2004 were, ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ and ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’. Yet, the total gross recipts at the box office for each of these movies was in excess of 0 million. The latest Brad Pitt film to receive a nomination is ‘The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button’, where Brad received a total of 5 nominations for Best Actor and Outstanding Performance by a Male actor from the Screen Actors Guild, the Academy Awards, BAFTA and the Golden Globes.
Upcoming Brad Pitt films are ‘The Tree of Life’ and ‘Inglourious Basterds’ both scheduled for 2009 release. ‘Inglourious Basterds’, a Quentin Tarantino film, where Brad plays an illiterate hillbilly from the mountains of Tennessee. The film has wrapped up after shooting on location in Germany and France and the producers expect to premier it at the Cannes Film Festival.
