dial soap
One of America’s classic cleaning brand names, Dial soap is produced by Dial Corporation located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The first time this soap brand started being produced, it belonged to the first soap manufacturing attempts of Armour and Company, more than a century ago, in 1888. Even if in its modern structure the company produces other cleaning products, Dial soap remains a major brand and the element that created a name for the business. Tallow and other meat-by-products were the initial primary matter for the production of the soap, and the name was inspired by the advertising of the Dial soap as a 24h protection against perspiration.
In fact, Dial soap was the first American antibacterial and deodorant soap ever produced in the United States. Since the soap proved extremely effective, the market success was not late to appear. Moreover, the non-medicinal clover-like fragrance made it easy to recognize and turned it into a favorite among all types of users. In time Dial soap diversity increased considerably with an expanded range of products that counted shaving creams and deodorants. The thing is that in the 50s, Dial soap was the best sold product in its category at the national scale.
With the diversification in the company activity, the profits turned rather erratic and it was not until 2004 when Dial Corporation was purchased by Henkel, Germany that the shift got back to personal care and laundry items. This equaled a new re-invention of the Dial soap on the market coinciding with its launch in Europe. The collection to which Dial products now belong is a lot more comprehensive and competitive with the expanding needs of the modern consumer. If in the 50s the soap was the deodorant one preferred to choose, now we use antibacterial soaps and deodorants as well.
Thus, the diversity of Dial soap variants is incredible, and the choice options cover essential tropical oils, exfoliating beads, spa minerals, white tea, mountain scent, aloe, spring water, vitamin E and lots of others. Each Dial soap distinct line targets a specific user segment: thus, aloe and vitamin E work magic for sensitive skin, essential oils revitalize tissues while spa minerals serve great for the purpose of eliminating toxins and dead skin cells. Some people only choose Dial soap because they enjoy one fragrance or another, but regardless the variant, quality remains the common thread of the entire collection.
